How does a slot machine being the same class as a regular video game complicate things (a huge problem)?

You should probably explain that somewhere on the webpage because a lot of people are going to think the pricing is odd (usually the larger packages are slightly cheaper rather than more expensive).

If it was bad enough legal action could have been taken which would have resulted in a NDE agreement.

Or possibly they still have family/friends working for REI who could be penalized for their story.

Or possibly sharing their story is unique enough it would personally identify them on the internet and they want to avoid that.

I, too, had to google it. It would have been just too hilarious if he had gotten it wrong (intentionally, obviously, as that would have been the joke).
