Saved is a ludicrously underrated movie, and you were legit terrific in it. Kudos.

Henskels knives

I was really worried that this recommendation would end up being super high end, but they're actually quite reasonable. Full set of 8 and block on Amazon for around $70. I guess it's time to upgrade my kitchen knives...

EDIT: As a number of people have pointed out, the set I found is Henckles INTERNATIONAL, which is a lower quality version than what Chef Ramsay is certainly referring to (made in China instead of Germany).

For anyone following along at home, the key seems to be that you want the logo with two figures instead of one - that's the hallmark of the superior german knives.

I tend to agree with this analysis, except for one thing - when I've thought about practical use of the Bat'leth, I think of it more as a quarterstaff. Obviously, that's not really how it was portrayed on the show, but by releasing one hand and snapping the weapon out with the other (assume incredibly strong klingon wrists), I think the reach problem is solved. With this technique, I think it becomes extremely dangerous - it has the staff's distance flexibility with the cutting damage of the blade.

No, it's about trust. Johnny is incredibly well respected and trusted. If he says he won't tell the secret, the magic community knows that he won't. And... there's probably an NDA (but the trust matters more).

I grew up in Syracuse, and there seemed to be universal agreement that anything north of The City was "upstate".
