Not a stunt man. But I did a year of martial arts just for fun, and they taught us how to fall properly within the first couple weeks. With a lot of practice I was able to fall onto concrete and grass from a 1 story building's roof with almost no pain, just bruises and the wind knocked out of me. Both Judo and Aikido have strong focuses on falling properly either to generate force or to negate it. For example, if you slap the ground right before your body hits it will slow your momentum, hopefully enough that you don't seriously injure yourself. But you must practice on a mat first until it's second nature, because if done incorrectly you can break your hands/wrists.

As a PNWesterner, I can't recommend zinc strips enough. Water moving over the metal prevents moss, seedlings, or anything else below it from taking root. We have those gutter covers and they work well enough unless the plant material builds up then lands on it and pushes it down.

Definitely horseshoe magnets on your second knuckles with N/S and little lightning bolts.
