Good for you! When I was 19 (just over three years ago now), I had reconstructive surgery because my breasts were completely different shapes and sizes. The psychological effects of dealing with these issues is horrible, so I feel your pain and I think it's awesome you're doing this to help people understand. I always think it's so shitty that insurance companies can't make exceptions for these sorts of things. My surgery cost just under $12000. I paid for half, my very amazing and wonderful family (parents and grandparents) paid for the other half.

So, yeah, good on you girlfriend! And damn those are some nice lookin' boobies! :)

I'm totally going to be that girl. Damnnn, you're cute! winkwink Can I getchyo number? Can I? Can I have it? Can I have yo' number?

Also, was it distracting having cameras in your face? Little girls screaming for you around every corner? Did anything like that throw you off your game, or were you pretty much totally in the zone? (everyone already asked the good questions. this is all i got.) And were you afraid you might trip and just fall flat on your face? Because I trip when I'm walking around normally, never mind running full speed down toy store aisles.

Also also, happy birthday!

It was well worth it in the end, as I'm sure you totally know. I had a lot done. Both breasts have implants in them. The one that was bigger needed a bunch of stuff taken out. My scars really suck on that side, though. I'm the only person who complains about it, though ...

But, again, very happy for you, my dear. Internet hugs!

Hi there! I was also 19 when I had my incredibly asymmetrical boobies fixed! (22 now) It's pretty much the best feeling in the world, right? Mine were not only totally different sizes, but also completely different shapes. My doctor was happy to point out how bad it was. Thanks doc!

My question. Why did you decide to get implants on both sides, instead of just putting an implant on one side and evening the other side out with it? Is that even possible? Or is it just common practice to go with two implants?

That makes tons of sense. And I realize I totally forgot to say it to you, but yay congrats to you too! I get really excited when I hear other people have done this for themselves because it completely changed how I felt about myself and I can only imagine it does the same for everyone else who experiences it.

Yes, the smaller breast was tuberous and the larger one had a lot of sag to it. I have saline, though, not silicone. Too many horror stories and my mom (who helped me pay for it) wanted me to go the saline route anyway. But, honestly, they're beyond jiggly (like sometimes I can't believe how much they jiggle) and no one can tell that they're not real. Aside from the scars, of course.

I anxiously await to see the after pics! I bet they're going to be marvelous! /creepy wink
