What they do with the baby cows that are born? Milk production needs pregnancy, so where do the babies go?

I read somewhere on this thread that 99% of meat/chicken/eggs/milk comes from factory farms. It would be completely unsustainable to have "happy local farms" with our population at this level. So, most meat.

Thanks! I know in America the baby cows are sold as veal, which is absolutely horrible in itself.

I just want to thank you for the work you've done regarding PBD and veganism. I seriously thought I would die if I went vegan (protein myths), but I don't think I've ever felt better. Also, it was much easier to convince my boyfriend to go vegan with me once he saw how healthy it could really be. Thanks!

Do you think lab-grown pet food will be popular soon? Is that something you see happening within your company?

I have two cats and I feel absolutely terrible feeding them animals, but I know there's not really another option.
