I must've just gotten confused with programming being my first try, then tried a new language with a more clear head and experience and seemed easier. Idk, I'm fine with C++, and it might help to have it be my main language with its advantages and all.

Ehh, I actually started with Java, but I found it too confusing, so I guess I just tried C++, which I've had a lot more luck with. Although, I'm dreading trying to tackle Win32 api stuff
