I'm a big fan of crime fiction and detective novels, last book of yours I picked up was The Snowman, which I really enjoyed. I was wondering, why do you think the detective genre is such a popular genre in Norway and other scandinavian countries? Thanks so much for raising the standards in the genre. You, Gunnar Staalsen and Stieg Larsson helped inspire me towards writing detective fiction.
