My optometrist wouldn't tell me my PD. I'm pretty sure it was because they wanted me to buy glass from them so I just had a friend measure for me with a ruler. Been wearing these Zenni specs for almost two years (thanks, Google!).

I have health/dental insurance by eye insurance was not offered by my work. So I went to Dr. Bizer's during their $1 eye exam sale and ordered my glasses online. I ended up getting the eye exam, two pairs of glasses, and two pairs of sunglasses for $100. For most people you can get all of that for even cheaper but I have a high prescription so it was like $15 more per pair for me.

This year, my company offered eye insurance this year but I did the math... cheaper not to have it!
