Hi there!

I'm applying to an M.Div program as we speak! I'm looking to become ordained in the UMC as well! I would LOVE it if you could answer some questions.

  1. Are you an elder or a deacon?

  2. Any advice for a young person seeking ordination?

  3. How much say have you had in where you live?

  4. How has your family dealt with being pastor's spouse, PK's etc?

  5. Did the board of ordained ministry have any problems with this: "In the Book of Romans, the apostle Paul says that nothing can separate us from the love of God. So no, you're not going to hell. And some silly deathbed decision isn't going to change that." haha?
