Thankfully where I am based on how intoxicated they are we can assess them and hand them over to the RCMP however I work in a small town and most of the RC's know the regulars by first and last name.

Where I work we have N.A.T which is non ambulance transport, only problem is if the patient has so much as a IV lock in place they "need" a damn ambulance.
