The Pharmacy and Eye care shop are open to EVERYONE, even those without memberships. They are not owned by Costco and due to being medical related, Costco is not legally allowed to restrict access.

You might get stopped by the membership checker, but if you're polite and state "I'm just going to the pharmacy", they'll usually just wave you on by. Just don't try to take a cart with you... DUH! :)

Source: My wife and daughter are both chronically ill and we bounce around between pharmacies for the best prices.

Disclaimer: We still have a membership. Since the Columbus store opened, we've always received more in refund than we paid for the membership.
