What was the lead up to the internment like?

Did you know that it was coming, were you able to pack up your belongings, say goodbye to your friends, etc?

How did the others (non-Japanese) in your community react when you left/when you came back?

I love spiders! I love the way their furry little legs feel. What would you suggest as the best pet spider? I do have 4 cats and 2 dogs. Is there anything I should know about keeping them separated?
