Were there any challenges from grower groups or breeding programs when you put your trait into public varieties? If so, how did you overcome them?

Wow, cool. I work in the biotech industry as well and we ran into serious issues with using public varieties with GM traits. I don't know about apples specifically, but these crops' breeding programs were funded by grower checkoffs, so maybe that was the rub.

If I can ask a follow-up, what is your route to commercialization? Are you partnering with specific greenhouses to sell the transplants, growing/selling them yourself or what?
