Police will just arrest everyone in that case.

But the tactic worked so well for Spartacus.

Please don't let them do this, it's just the first step in dismantling it all together.

There's no way it's going to make it cheaper for the government, the private corporations are going to skimp on the expensive parts of care and make decisions for profit rather than patient health.

In medical care there is a direct conflict of interest for those providing care: Providing excellent care for the patient will cost the company more money, one's benefit must be sacrificed for the other's and I'm going to assume that it will be the patients'.

edit: this was a plea to the citizens of the UK in general, I understand you don't have the authority to prevent this, personally.

I blame True Blood for diverting the funds they needed to continue with Rome. I understand that it was really cheap to make and got a bunch of subscribers... but on the other hand Rome was entertaining.

Damnit, sookeh.

Thanks for opening up and doing the AMA.

Has this ever caused difficulty in relationships? I couldn't imagine an adult really having an issue with this, but in our teens through our twenties we're really superficial jerks. Like did anyone ever go, "No, that's one too many for me, I can't handle that many vaginas?"

edit: past perfect tense

Totally. True Blood was a soap opera, there's nothing there beneath the surface.

Rome and Deadwood, however, I've seen at least 10x each, and still catch character ties, and sub plots that I didn't even notice. There is so much going on in these shows.

But my favorite thing about these shows is that there is a knowledge requirement to understand them. I like that subjects mentioned in passing in the shows (city, war, person who is not directly in the show), themselves, with some google-fu can provide hours of entertainment and add tons of context.
