As an Eagle Scout who has been inactive since receiving his award, never really known on council level, but well known and (I believe) very respected for his time in the troop, what approach do you think I should take to make my opinion known?

I have talked with other Eagle Scouts from around the nation about this at college, but am interested in your personal opinion.
