Ding ding ding

The only Nigerian person I knew was a "prince" who went to my university (wealthy family, mother was kidnapped for ransom, the whole bit). I've heard from other people who have Nigerian friends that there are in fact, a lot of "princes". Does that word have a different meaning than we imagine?

Its not their job to teach people the value of their items. A customer comes in offering their merchandise for x, and the pawn shop agrees/disagrees. What you're thinking is equivalent to going into a retail store and telling the store no, I'll pay double since I think your sale price is too cheap.

So Hardcore Pawn does show a fraction of reality..

I understand the sentiment, but the same can be said about the general public and their lack of research and the whole "they'll tell me how much it's worth" attitude. So people who get less than FMV for their item have earned their reputation as being uninformed and not putting in any effort.
