What do you do about porn?

We found out my son had been watching open when he was about 12. We explained it's like a Marvel comic book movie - that this isn't what it's like in real life. We told him that it's normal to be curious but this isn't something we want him to watch until he is older and that he isn't in trouble but we were setting up better parental controls for the computer. We asked if he had questions about what he had seen.

The internet makes it hard. I wouldn't care if he wanted to see boobs, but with the internet there's no difference between boobs and gangbang bdsm. It's easy to block stuff from the computer, but not the phone and ipad. And he's smart enough to find ways around parental controls anyway.

How do you explain this to them? I feel like they're all being exposed to some freaky stuff.
