I love to just ask the app questions about family relationships to figure out what cousins is what at a reunion, e.g. "My dad's cousin" and it outputs "first cousin once removed" and a nice diagram to explain.

Awesome stuff!

My grand-father's restaurant has a James Beard award, so I've kind of grown up having a little insight into the culinary world. I'm not a chef, but I've definitely developed appreciation for what it takes for a restaurant to earn prestigous awards. Probably something worth pointing out to people who aren't familiar is that one of the distinguishing characteristics of 3-star Michelin restaurants is consistency. Every single time the dish is prepared it is consistantly the same quality, regardless of the day of the week, the market selections that week/day, the person preparing the dish, etc., the dish is the same level of perfection time and time again. They are not hit-or-miss type affairs. If you go to one you know that the dish being served to you is the same quality that earned that establisment star(s) to begin with.

Well, that is an absolutely horrible story, but with all of the press about officers and violence against animals at least it seems in this instance that there is some resolution. I'm really glad they are bringing felony charges against him, because they wouldn't have charged him if the DA didn't think there was a case to be had, they kind of make their career on effectively prosecuting after all. That is still a really upsetting story to read ...

When I was 10 I founded my first company, and became the first CEO in my family. I eventually expanded my lawn mowing business to include the neighbors two doors down, and from there it just snowballed. Eventually I acquired the local lemonade stand, and I began investing in the communication sectors when I started a newspaper delivery service. Eventually I was able to start in the restaurant industry, and honestly, you probably would never have met a better dishwasher at 16. I know, not everyone can say they've had these amazing opportunities, but I'm here to tell you that you too can achieve your dreams if only you believe in yourself. Really the world is your oyster.
