What do you think are the biggest problems with the current USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans, and how would you change them if you had the power to do so?

You do a great job of keeping your show fresh and funny while avoiding sexist, racist, and homophobic bullshit. Is that something you've had to work hard at, or were you just raised that way? Also, can you think of instances where you kinda fucked up in this department?

All of the MaxFun hosts manage to be funny and (pardon me for using this word) edgy, without resorting to sexist, racist, homophobic, or otherwise offensive jokes. Is that a matter of policy or some sort or contractual obligation, or are you just a really good judge of character?

It seems likely to result in deficiencies in iron, zinc, calcium, and B12. One of my friends has ended up with really bad teeth after a couple years on the diet (although it's impossible to connect this to her diet, that is one of the things people warn about). And the people I know who are on the diet seem obsessed with food. Of course, that can be true for any diet, but it seems like this particular movement encourages that kind of unhealthy obsession, from what I have observed.

Yes, and what about fruitarians? I know a few people who are trying this, and it really worries me.
