In your experience, do prescriptions change as often as people are lead to believe? In the US you have to have an updated prescription every year in order to get fresh glasses or contacts and my prescription hasnt changed in over 20 years except for 5 years ago when it was discovered my astigmatism had "gone away" but that I can still use the same prescription Ive always had. I have to pay out of pocket every year for an optometrist to tell me the exact thing they said the year before that. Its hard not to think this is a scam. I can understand that its important to get an exam every so often just like healthcare check ups... however, theres no law saying I have to get a medical check up every year in order to buy tampons lol. hell, vaccinations arent even regulated that way. Do you think this is fair? why or why not?

I dont know what youre talking about. I know he was cleared of it. I was simply wondering if you knew anything about it. If youre going to be overly defensive toward somebody, you ought to know the full story. Thought that was reporter 101.
