This happened to me tonight, after being forwarded or hung up on about six times:
(after describing my problem) "Well, you've definitely got the right number this time!" (he chuckles and I feel relieved)
six minutes later
"Yeah so I can't really help you, let me give you the number to..."

I'm not kidding, I called Comcast tonight for some support and I got redirected eight times. And out of those eight, five of them were done without even telling me (eg, they'd say, "let me put you on hold while I look into it..." <five minutes later> "thank you for calling Comcast, how may I help?" THEY JUST LIED AND DUMPED ME ON ANOTHER PERSON!)
