Why is it DUI instead of "drinking with intent to drive"? It's always bothered me how you aren't allowed to drive because you judgement is impaired and yet your judgement isn't seen as impaired when you choose to drive. If it was 'drinking with intent', the onus would be on people to plan how they are going to get home or wherever before they even start drinking. It could still be enforced the same way as you would be caught drunk behind the wheel.
