I have the same thing, though just the hives part - never anaphylaxis.
Have you ever been tested for other allergies? Food or environmental? (I just ask because my cold urticaria has decreased in severity since cutting out all the foods I just found out I'm allergic to)
I was also wondering if the doctors have said anything about severity vs. how long it takes to break out.
Because you said for you the reaction can take a bit but is really bad and widespread, but for me it's almost immediate but very localized.
