Why do you think it has been so difficult for Scientology members who abuse former members not to end up charged with crimes that land them in the courts? Are Scientology's lawyers -that- good?

Given the DOJ's recent directive on private prisons, how likely is it that the DOJ will remove for-profit probation services out of the equation? It seems like there are far too many stories of people who end up thousands of dollars in debt to these private companies, amounts which far exceed the penalties incurred by their original infractions.
