Travel has always been a big dream of mine, but right now I'm at a crossroads. I'm 20 years old, and it feels like I'm in the same situation you were in before you started. I spent my high school years on forums, developing skills in photoshop and computer science and stuff, then went onto music and poetry, art, etc. and am now living in Boston at a music school. But I feel so locked down where I am.

I would absolutely love to go on an adventure like this, but there are two roadblocks facing me right now.

1) It's recently been discovered that I have lesions in my brain that may or may not be contributing to neurological wasting in my hands, and potentially the rest of my arms. My problem is that I won't be able to do anything truly physical like farm work, or anything like that -- and it seems as though that type of work is the one with the highest demand for work-exchange. How do I get around that?

2) My next biggest problem is that I don't know where to begin. I think teaching english in other countries sounds really cool, and as it happens I went to school for two years to become a teacher before transferring up here, but even then how do I get off the ground? What else is there besides teaching that isn't physically demanding?

Any type of response would mean a lot, I truly admire the lifestyle you live and the work you're doing. Best of luck in everything you continue to do; I hope you find what you're looking for.

Hey, congratulations on your 5 years, man. That is so huge. How did they know to look there for the cancer? Were there any symptoms or signs beforehand?
