That makes me so happy to hear! Cruise tourism so often purposefully ignores the people living there, I think land based tourism is 100% the way to experience the islands. But so few people ever make it to isabella. Did you make friends or remember any names? The volcano is spectacular, and biking down the road from the top is a blast. Did you ever interact with the people in the IOI building/program?

Where on isla isabella did you land? I used to live in Puerto villamil! What did you do while there? Did you have a chance to hike our volcano? Go to iguana point bar?

Are you referring to claspers?

Hi! I did shark research in florida during college. One of our phd students told me that literally every time I got in the water, there was a shark close enough to know I was there. One more thing to drive home the fact that they don't want to eat you. We were catching sharks all the time within sight of downtown miami.

During my research in miami we regularly caught tigers and bull sharks within sight of the coast!
