I'm a social idiot, but it seems to me that a person could say yes to more kissing/etc, but no to actual sex being offered, yet still enjoy more sensual activities after saying no to sex itself. Is that date fraud?

I've always heard that part of the reasons boy commit suicide more often is because they tend to choose more effective methods. Can you speak to that at all? When I was in HS, over a decade ago now, they told us that girls were something like 4 times as likely to choose a 'recoverable' method such as pills or a slow bleed, whereas boys were more likely to jump, hang or a shoot themselves.

In Washington State, the law requires that the parent sleep in a bedroom. I thought that was weird. They can't rent an apartment with a dining room, or a big living room and sleep in there and give the kids a bedroom, they have to have a bedroom themselves. It's punitive towards poor people. Is that the same thing your Uncle experienced?

I don't know that I'd go that far, there is some merit to what he's saying, but I feel like he needs to unpack it a whole lot more or it can be taken in a myriad of ways, which may or may not be what he intended as the takeaway.

I guess though, this has something to do with being on both ends of the stick (to be fair, I think most people, male female, etc, have been on both ends of this stick.) I've been that person that was all "Yo, don't mind smooching you, but no way are we going two inches further." And I've also been the person that was promised a good time, nudge-nudge, wink-wink if I would just come on over and do a few things for them. In the first case, no one felt defrauded. In the second case I felt very, very stupid. Defrauded? No, not really, but I can see the argument for it.
