I have a follow-up question on this one. We had a discussion in r/learnprogramming ( here ) about "how to become a game developer". One statement was, that

Real game development requires serious computer science, including AI, graphics (the scientific foundation, Ray tracing linear algebra etc)

My counter argument was basically "Stardew Valley -> 'nothing fancy about it', one person, but a great game -> You don't need to be a crack to create awesome games"

What's your standpoint?

For old dos games: "Play <game> online". And yes, many of them you can play in the browser.

What do you do for a living?

In an answer you said, that you enjoyed a concert and you'd like to go again, even though you can't remember, but you remember enjoying it. Is there no difference between you and 'regular' people when you are experience emotion in the present? And does this mean, every time you hear the same song, it's like you experience it for the first time?

And how do you 'forget' emotions? Is it like in an 'instant', does it slowly fade away? I can't imagine a person rocking to a song at a live concert and when the song is finished goes like "Well, I remember having a good time."

Beside not being able to recall memory, does your 'brain function properly'? For instance, can you get addicted as well or does your "brain-chemistry" work differently? You know, smoking a cigarette gives you a good feeling, releases dopamine (I think), and your brain tells you "well, smoke another one, can't be bad if it felt good, right?".

Would you say you're happy? How do you define happiness and what do you do to achieve it? I'm asking because for every person it's different, but you often hear things like accomplishment or recognition, which are based on emotion.

Thanks for the long answer, I really appreciate it.

From what I recall from my concerts, there's this 'factual information', for instance seeing people holding their beer cans up while jumping around and me and my emotion, finding this moving picture unnaturally hilarious.

How would you describe your last visit to a concert? I'm like really curious how a concert review would look like.

I know some songs which I listen to in the morning, because they make my lazy arse moving, or some songs which I listen to while at work, because they help me concentrate. I'd say that's how I select the music I want to listen to in general. So in that aspect, we're not very different, are we? We know, that a specific song makes us feel a specific way, that's why we chose to listen to it. It's not about the past, it's about reviving those feelings.

Pfft don't do that we hate chocolate, chocolate tastes terrible

How dare you say that! lol

Okay, you are still prone to physical dependency, but less/not to psychological dependency because your brain "doesn't understand that concept" or you simply trick your brain?

I'm never happy when I'm not in motion.

Is this based on your personality, or is this because of your condition? Because I can simply lie down and feel content, but I do know people who can't do that.

And about that bucket list, it's funny because we covered the past and the present, but not the future. I would have asked, how do you know that having a partner is the right decision, but if I were asking myself, I wouldn't be able to give an answer - but can you?

About traveling: I like to travel too, mainly to 'get way', but I also like different languages and cultures, when I'm on my bike I like the ride itself, feeling the adrenaline, being on top of a pass and simply enjoy the view. Everything is about experience and emotion, what makes you want to travel? Is it simply, because then, you're in motion, or is there something else?
