I live in South Africa and although I live in relative leisure our internet situation is pretty crappy, even in the bigger cities. It's way overpriced and in some cases a tenth of the speed you'd expect of modern almost anywhere outside the continent.

My question is how important is connecting rural Africa to the rest of the world to you?
