My great uncle was a b-24 pilot. His plane crashed somewhere in Italy in 1942. he might have been 20 when he met his fate.

my cousin has done alot of research about the incident. there was engine failure... they found the crash site... small things. thats all i know. it's fascinating. he even sent home a photo album of his travels. that was haunting, surreal even to look into his life. he would have been someone i would have like to have known.
