I miss the island so much since moving to the mainland. Your performance in Moana brought me back to Hawaii - and it was mostly because of your vocals.

Can you tell me how you put yourself and your heritage into the character of Moana?

This is going to sound crazy - but somewhere around 1995, I was a young kid, all of about 12 years old, traveling with my cousin on a flight from JFK to LAX. You were sitting directly behind us and I think, if I remember correctly, you were with Amy Heckerling.

Anyway, for about an hour, my cousin (a girl) and I were in total 12-year-old-freak-out-mode because Balki Bartokomous was sitting behind us.

Finally we worked up the courage to chat with you and you were so awesome to us. You chatted with us like normal human beings and not like we were some young punk kids bothering a celebrity. You even gave us gum to chew on the descent!

Bottom line: you were a pretty standup guy and gave me a great first impression of a celebrity. Plus, I got a great story that I still tell to this day!

Anyway, I just wanted to see if you remembered that and to say thanks for being awesome!

Have you suffered from any illnesses related to the radiation, given the very young age at which you were exposed?

Hi Frank!

I was born and raised in Syracuse. I went to SU and received two degrees.

I left because, frankly, there was very little in the way of promising growth and work. Many of my peers and friends left too.

There are things that I miss, like restaurants, the Fair, the University...the things that most people love about the Cuse.

But there is a distinct lack of presence and growth in the tech industries.

How do you plan to help Syracuse become great again and stop the brain drain?

Also, how do you feel about municipal internet services like in Chattanooga and incorporating them in Syracuse as a way to energize the business climate?
