People who just enjoy cocktails (drinking in general) you truly do build up a tolerance to it. I know some petit girls who can out drink some casual guys on just a regular bar visit and walk out the bar visibly fine (still shouldn't be driving). If you're an enthusiast of the craft you drink often and your body adapts to that.

That said, any person can build up a tolerance to drinking and be okay to talk/walk around without making an absolute fool but it still hits the bloodstream all the same and should never consider driving. If you walk out the bar and even have to actually think "Am I okay?" you're probably not and just going to rationalize it. Uber/Lyft/Taxi/Bus/Calling a friend are all better options than justifying you're okay to drive and making a minor mistake because some car in front hit their break earlier than you expected. DUI costs are not cheap and death is irreversible. Drink responsibly

Cheers!

There were no forks in medieval times, hence there are no forks AT medieval times.

Would you like a refill of your Pepsi?

Hangover cure is sort of silly. There are things that can help (pedialyte, gatorade, greasy food are all common) but rather than cure, you can just take preemptive measure to minimize/eliminate the issue.

My biggest tip to drinkers is between every drink or two, have a glass of water. Not a sip, a full glass. At the end of the night before going to bed, drink at least one full glass of water, two if you can take a moment to put it down. You'll pee like the dickens but seriously the water you're putting down will make you able to actually do things the next day and not want to die.

Hi Brett. I’m in Chicago and have been trying to get a job at one of the many breweries in the area. I’ve been applying around and trying to contact folks without much luck. I’ve got a good work history, but no brewery experience. What would you recommend to get in? Specifically in the production side of things. I already have a beard, so that should be a decent start, right?
