I was recently introduced to the Simulation Argument while listening to Duncan Trussell's podcast w/ Tom Rhodes. (Quick summary: we are essentially living in a fully complex, perfectly detailed version of the Sims created by an earlier generation of humans; a quasi-Matrix). What do you or your peers think about this hypothesis, its probability, and its possible implications on our ethics?
