Right but as a political figure with actual sway in his endorsements, that becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy kinda. In another universe there’s a world where when the centrists dropped and endorsed Biden, the Warren’s and Yang’s did the same and we’d probably still be in the thick of a heated primary. Why would Andrew look self-absorbed if he endorsed Bernie or something like that?

What does this even mean though? How did Bernie’s supporters “make it all about him”? He was literally running for president? And wait, you thought he should just have said “I disavow all hardcore supporters who are making it all about me”?

Also, I’m sorry, believe what you want, but Yang endorsing Biden and joining CNN is 100% him becoming for corporate. You can be fine with that or course but it’s bizarre to pretend it wasn’t a pretty surprising turn given his rhetoric the previous months.

What do you think this says of his commitment towards building power in movements though? Obviously Yang’s endorsement was nowhere near as significant as Warren’s failure to drop out and lack of an endorsement, but I’m just curious why you consider it smart? Like a smart decision for his personal career or smart for actually achieving things?
