As someone wholly unfamiliar with Finland, what's the reason that women don't have join up, either military or civilian service?
Is there any sentiment among the general public that they should or not, what's the general opinion?

One of the reasons why it's a negative thing is that it makes you sound less confident when you're speaking. When a teacher asks a question and you uptalk your answer, you sound less sure, like you're throwing out a guess, rather than giving the answer. For some, this is deliberate, they are actually not completely sure that their answer is correct, but some do it all the time.
I think your stance of "Let's not take it seriously" is not very productive. It's a legitimate area of study, for example because women use uptalk more than men, which is interesting. Just like Vocal Fry, it's just something that has a negative impact on people's perceptions of you and that people might go to a speech therapist for.

Negative votes only mean people disagree with you, it says nothing about why they disagree with you. You don't seem to want to listen to those people though about why and you just throw them all into your category of transracistbigotswhatevers.
