Last time I was in Canada we went skiing at Mont Tremblant. Some dude in the gondola realized we were American and immediately started asking about our president and politics. Like dude idgaf I'm here to ride, drink beer, and have a good time. I'm sure it was meant to be harmless but not all of us care, especially when were on vacation.

Easier said from the outside. If you're literally minding your own business and not breaking any laws but being accused to the point of officers trying to forcefully arrest you your ganna react differently. It's easy to say we should we comply, but when you're actually in that situation 100% knowing you've done nothing wrong why would you? Now u have people physically assaulting you for nothing and you cant breathe. Do u comply or do u do everything u can to defend yourself and get them tf off u so you can breathe.

Should be asking at what point does "resisting arrest" actually become self defense.

To my knowledge, there exists no serious evidence to support the idea that armed civilians will deter mass shootings or effectively prevent or stop them.

I'm not saying it does or doesn't, simply making an observation. I think this probably has a lot to do with what's reported and tracked. There are without a doubt various instances where armed civilians have in fact stopped active or potential active shooters. But how much of those instances are reported/tracked in comparison to the statistics of mass shootings? I also dont think more guns are the answer and the issues and solutions are much deeper. But I sure as hell would rather have a gun and never have to use it then be in a situation like that and not have one.
