A really simple, and good first step would be to install HTTPS Everywhere.

It'll just work in the background with sites that support HTTPS. At least you'll be doing some basic encryption for typical web traffic.

Also you might want to install Do Not Track ME. This will stop of lot of traffic analysis and monitoring of your web activity used for marketing purposes (or whatever else.)

If you use Facebook, you might consider stopping that altogether. Otherwise "personal internet privacy" is a meaningless term, since you are just giving your personal information to whoever wants to pay for it. If you can't stop Facebook, at least Do Not Track Me will hamper their monitoring of everything you do on the internet.

The TV censored version of Cheech and Chongs Next Movie is a classic. All references to marijuana are changed to diamonds, they even filmed shots showing diamonds instead of weed.

It makes the movie so funny in an absurd way.

So if someone wanders into an EMS tent, or approaches a ranger, obviously unable to find your camp, will they send them on to you? Or do people have to know the camp address? I will make a point of noting where your camp is for our camp mates to be able to direct people, but I'm wondering if its purely a word of mouth thing.

I know that from past experience, summoning authorities for someone having a tough time can lead to further bad experiences. We'll usually just provide in camp comfort and a place to rest until they feel ok to move on.

I was watching an episode of Workaholics the other day, and Comedy Central censored the word "cock" but immediately after they said "dick" numerous times. Only with the mention of the word "cock" did they censor it, and they both have the exact same meaning in that context.

It felt to me like some censor just thought one was more "dirty" than the other, otherwise I cannot fathom why they did that. Is it many times up to someones personal taste as to whether one version of a term is ok and the other isn't?
