Former ophthalmic tech whose doc did mission work overseas. I get waterworks just hearing his stories like this! One time, he said the grandkid burst into tears when grandma could see again. Why, you ask? Because the 8 yr old could now go to school for the first time instead of staying home and taking care of blind grandma. I love ophthalmology! Thanks for your service!
