Oh, how ill-fated that was. I was at Turbine at the time and we spent months of development time on a Monster Rancher-ish fighting game where you would "evolve" your fighting brood. It was a lot of fun to work on, but the people at Sega oversold the Dreamcast's capabilities and we soon hit walls that made much of our game idea almost impossible. Then the president of Sega USA resigned and then the Dreamcast really stopped getting any focus by pretty much everyone (developers and Sega).

Mike and I were roommates during the Asheron's Call days and then for a few years after, when we created the original WoC

Oh yeah, I was also the web developer at Turbine because back then web developer was the perfect add-on job for the user interface guy. I'd actually forgotten that I did that (used my Zogblaster site to test run the Asheron's Call site).

As a side note, I also ran an internal website where I basically just posted a daily feed of random images I found around the net. It was like imgur, but only for Turbine and only one person was posting to it. That's a site I wish was still backed up somewhere...
