Hey, not every day I run into another person that's LDS on reddit. I always thought Japan would be cool too. I have two friends that are being sent to the Tokyo mission there, and one that is being sent to Seoul, South Korea. I was a little jealous, but I'm leaving for France in a little while so I can't complain. I've heard Chile is also a very interesting mission.

You got it. Although, and I don't mean to be rude when I say this, we prefer LDS or Latter Day Saint over Mormon. Mormon isn't a bad term, but we do prefer to be referred to as LDS for a few reasons.

Hey, I'm a soon to be missionary, although of a different faith, and to a different country as well (France). Were you involved in any of the missionary work that your parents did? If so, what were some of the struggles you or your parents came across while trying to introduce your religion to the Japanese people?
