Not an oil worker but north Dakota has a huge bom (not sure how low prices are effecting it now) last I knew they had a lot of homeless or people in campers because they couldn't build housing fast enough. I thought bout doing it but got into electrical trade instead. When i was researching a lot of people would work 14 days straight for up to 16hr days and have 5-10 days off

What is the craziest work story you have? And what is the best prank you pull on your co-workers?

Recently had concrete guys from Pennsylvanian come to my factory job in Iowa and tear out and pour a shit ton of concrete. Some areas were 20" deep. It was really interesting watching them and I asked one of the guys what his craziest story was and he said they were doing a federal job and found bones....Next day FBI kicked them off the property and told them they weren't needed anymore.

Would you say you have a darker sense of humor than others? People i know in the emt and dispatcher careers seem to have a darker sense of humor than most. Nothing too bad but they all say it kind of just helps them deal with things.

I'd also like to take this time to thank you for what you do. Dispatchers go un-noticed all the time. My best friend was a dispatcher for 7 years (before taking another job in the law center) and some of the things he had to go through just seemed insane!
