In my area, every single gas station I know of has switched over to pay inside with cash before you can pump. If you have a CC, you have to insert it first to begin fueling.

That's a much easier solution to the drive-off problem then having to spend nearly $200 a day extra on labor to monitor it as a pump attendant.
