We've started to clamp down on "healthcare tourists" as we can't cope with people who use the service but haven't/won't pay for it via taxable employment in the UK.

It's brutal to equate healthcare to money but the NHS is no different to private healthcare- it only operates as long as money gets pumped in.

I'll have been in NHS employment for 10 years come December and I wouldn't work for free as I've got bills and a mortgage to pay just like every non-NHS-employed person.
