Why a charter school, instead of supporting Broward County Schools?

I’m a longtime Florida teacher/FEA member with a principal certification and M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Policy. I’m very much aware of how the system works.

In Florida school districts, magnets have taken off spectacularly. Broward County’s are actually particularly robust AND overwhelmingly STEM focused, so the concept of wanting a STEM specific school to fill a void doesn’t really check out. FL public schools also consistently have business partners, so that wouldn’t be new either.

What exactly do you want more control over?

Diversity of tactics definitely does not make anybody "better" than anybody else.

Yeah, probably should just elect a reptilian or some shit — definitely not someone HUMAN.
