But now I drink a lot just for practice.

LOL! Best excuse I've ever heard!

I think it's my favorite as well. I was somewhat...put off by the final episode of "Black Adder goes forth" but there was really nothing else you could do with it without making war just a joke, although you managed to show the stupidity and pointlessness of war at many points in the series. The Christmas Carol special is one the finest pieces of comedy I have ever seen.

OK, have an upvote, I bet most people don't even catch that one.

Suggestion, wear a sling on your right arm. I only had a pacemaker installed, but I had the hardest time remembering not to lift my arm. You may not have the same issue because of pain initially, but when it eases, think about the sling as a reminder.

Not OP but...

Some clarifications of your story, the "string" was actually a wire, there are two approaches, they prefer the radial artery (wrist) but it sounds like your artery went into spasm and therefore prevented them from advancing it to the coronary arteries (arteries that give your heart muscle blood). They had to go femoral (groin) approach instead.

I had a temporary pacemaker put in while they were installing the permanent one in my shoulder. Went in through the groin, and after the shaving, I felt pretty much nothing of the insertion and feeding through, just started seeing the pulse rate pick up while they were setting it up. Why would OP have felt such pain where I felt nothing? I am 6 foot and 200 pounds, but OP doesn't look that much smaller. I do apparently have very good cardiovascular system with very good pumping, (now the heart is firing on all cylinders) is it just down to the size and condition of the arteries?
