Melanoma is a skin cancer, so normally a person will see a weird mole, perhaps one that is growing or changing, and go to the doctor to get it checked out.

If anyone reading this suspects that they may have a mole that is turning into melanoma, GO TO THE DOCTOR ASAP. Melanomas are often very aggressive, and it is critical to get them removed and begin treatment as soon as possible.

I also have a lot of moles and have had one so far that was atypical. Because of that, they told me to go every 6 months. Maybe you should ask whether you need more frequent exams, and see if they can give you more specific guidelines on when to go sooner?

It's frustrating for us moley types! Hard to keep track of them all.

My husband has a terrible habit of texting while driving. I have asked him SO many times to stop, but I know he hasn't, because whenever we're in the car together his first instinct is to reach for his phone and begin replying when he gets a text. I snatch it when I'm with him and read the text/reply for him, but I'm positive he still does it when I'm not there. Any advice on what might get through to him (other than an accident)? It really, really worries me.
