I'm curious as to where you see Australia in five to ten years time? Do you think issues like those brought to light by Snowden will have been dealt with? Do you see things like the TPP and internet filtering being banished? Or will we reach a stage where spying, data retention and internet filtering are just accepted as a part of our lives?

I know personally I'm terrified about the amount of control governments are trying to force on us. Whilst protecting copyright, preventing terrorism etc are serious issues, I think there must be better ways to handle them.

I also wanted to thank you for all your hard work. Politicians have always seemed shallow to me and never true to their word, but you are incredibly hard working and have integrity and I thank you for fighting for our rights.

How did you find the immediate response was from the male friends in your life? Did you instantly get a ton of creepy messages and propositions, or were your friends pretty cool about it all?
