Would you hitch from those same stops or out on the highway? I'd be nervous getting into the cab of someone I just saw paying for sex.

I think its kind of a cultural thing. I can imagine Americans would be more likely to pick up a hitchhiker, but over here in Ireland I'd be a lot less worried about the people who might pull over. Its kinda like a zeitgeist/cultural identity thing, I guess. There are so few of us sure we have to have something in common.

Hope you dont mind me asking but are you two male or female? I've always considered hitchhiking and would love to, but as a girl in her early 20's I'm not sure how safe it would be.
