How did you come up with that flavor profile? And how/where did you find coffee and lavendar cheddar?

They opened a series of schools (Kamehameha schools) that teach immersion. To go to a Kamehameha school you need to have some percentage of native Hawaiian blood. In some places, schools teach in only Hawaiian until the children are about eight years old. There's been a huge revival in the universities as well, with classes in everything from math to science to radio broadcasting all in Hawaiian. The Hawaiian people are resilient and love their beautiful culture and language, and it isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
