Dude. Don't sweat it. I have both ears with some hearing loss and I can't understand people clearly all the time. So I ask once to repeat and if I still can't understand I just say "Oh, ok" Not realizing they may have asked me a question. Then there's this awkward staring moment. This has been my life for the past 10 years. By the way, what's the best joke you've ever heard? 😉
